Unemployed

Hello, and thank you for this opportunity to speak out.
First of all, please allow me to say…if taxes weren’t so high on most things and if I weren’t taxed for EVERYTHING…I might just be able to SPEND my money on things I want and put it back into the economy.
That said.
Yeah, it stinks I have to pay taxes. But other than memorandums (in which I don’t participate because I don’t have children), why don’t I have a CHOICE of where my tax money goes?
Why do my tax dollars go to causes I don’t support when I want them spent on things I do support? I don’t support welfare recipients popping out kids – why do my tax dollars have to go to that? I DO support our troops, animal welfare, and education – so I’d want my money going to those causes. I don’t ride the bus – my parents and grandparents don’t ride the bus – why are my tax dollars going to elderly people who ride the bus??????
Put together some type of program in which I get a vote…in which ALL of us get a vote…tally it up…and the causes with the least amount of votes don’t get public funding.
Missing out on making millions on taxes? Why not tax the PORN industry? Those slob loser addicts should have to pay as many taxes on that service. Smokers and alcoholics are financially punished for their addictions…sex addicts should be, too.
1% here, 2% there, $40 for this permit, $25 for that permit……..no wonder people can’t save money for retirement or spend it towards the economy – we’re too busy paying for things we NEED rather than things we WANT.
You may have seen an email floating around as a joke regarding the bail out plan…
Maybe it’s not so ridiculous.
There’s about 40 million people over 50 in the work
force – pay them $1 million apiece severance with the
following stipulations:
1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings
-Unemployment fixed.
2) They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered
- Auto Industry fixed.
3) They either buy a house/pay off their mortgage -
Housing Crisis fixed.
Can’t get any easier than that! And it would be at least a Trillion dollars cheaper than what you are doing now, even if there were 100 million people that you paid $1 million each.
