Public Aid

Every individual receiving public aid should be required to submit to a drug test every month prior to receiving the aid. Positive for drugs including alcohol? No public aid.

My guess is that none of these suggestinons will be used or discussed. Our legislators just don’t care. It is all about THEM! This is just a tool they are using to let people vent. Have a nice day.

This is how to fix public aid:
If you are on public aid, you will have 2 options;
Option 1: You will go to school full time. The state will pay for it and if you have kids, daycare will be provided. If you miss class or finish with a D or below, you will not receive your welfare check. I want you to go from the welfare rolls to the tax rolls.
Option 2: You will work atleast 30 hours per week cleaning up garbage along highways, cutting grass, cleaning graphitti, etc… I don’t want to hear from the unions that we are taking their jobs, etc… Welfare will have to be earned. You take their welfare check and divide it by the work days in the month. You miss a day, you don’t get paid. Plus, you will pee in a cup on a weekly basis. What day of the week will not be informed until they hand you a cup. Test positive, have a nice day.
I was working on the south side and there was a pregnant woman, smoking crack and drinking her 40 right infront of me. She was telling here friend’s husband that this one was really being trouble and she was going to “get rid of it.” the husband told her “no, thats revenue.”
The cycle has to stop. From the welfare rolls to the tax rolls. Once that is done, the cycle will end and we will be able to balance a budget in the future.
Remember, “If ya ain’t got it, don’t spend it!”

There is nothing more disgusting than having to stand in line at the public aid office for food stamps.I really do not want them but have no choice at this time.My understanding is that when these programs were developed they were for the working man as a means to an end if needed.now it is a lifestyle and these people that abuse the system get more in total benefits than they would if they worked so why work. More babies more benefits is their motto.I cant even get supplemental health care temporarily for my kids because they live with their mother but these women who continue to have babies get a full medical ride. I agree with Joe, clean roadways etc… just get something in return from these bottom feedeers
