Planned Parenthood

JMJ All funding for Planned Parenthood should be eliminated and all funding for embryonic stem cell should be slashed as soon as possible. Illinois voters do not want their tax dollars spent on killing innocent life. Dan Hynes and all Illinois politicians should be ashamed of their lapse in morals and spending!!!

    All of this should be cut. I was a teenage mother might I ad. I think it is a slap n the face for pro lifers like myself to have to pay for abortions. That is dumb. If these kids are not able to take care of a kid than they are not ready to have sex. I dont believe that anyone should rely on tax money because oops they got pregnant and dont know what to do. Well you should have known better. Parents now a days need to pull out their heads and teach their kids.

    Here, here, Mrs. Roland. I thought we had a representative government, but with so many special interest projects being funded with little or no citizen support I am apparently mistaken. Poll the pollsters and one will see that we who actually cough up the cash do not want our money spent on things which we do not support, such as abortion, embryonic stem cell research, set-asides for homosexuals, support for persons here illegally, and the list goes on and on. I will be pleasantly surprised if anything comes of this novel concept that seems to caricature solicitation of input from the constituency. Why would people learn to take care of themselves if the government FORCES the most productive to support UNWILLINGLY them? I get so upset when I try to apply simple logic to anything “government”. It seems futile.
