Not sure if this is an idea for IL; but for the reps to take to the President.

1. Keep the radio stations as they are. I do NOT want to pay for a radio like xm etc. It’s ridiculous to pay for it. it’s been ok the last 100 plus years; let it be. Those who want to pay for it, will. I personally enjoy my mix of radio stations between the talk and the sounds. Our technology is putting people out of jobs. We are being forced to accept blue ray and xm bc ‘you take away’ what we are fine with. I have to listen to xm at work and it’s awful. We must listen to a mix and we have two choices and there is no news or updates about world events that may happen; there’s usually no weather update; the music is awful. If you want a style of music you have to listen to that style or keep changing stations to find a song you like etc. point is……keep the radio as it is.

2. FOR IL. Go with more paved bike trails. We’ll get killed on the roads. More trails would promote exercise for sure.

3. health care. I work in the industry. PLEASE. those who need it ‘already get it for free’. It’s called public aid. No hospital can refuse anyone. The taxes already pay for this. Why add more to it?

I have Ins. that will only pay for a major catastrophe. I pay ridiculous premiums so I may chose my own doctor or hospital. However, to ‘afford’ it I have a high deductible. This prevents me from going in for when I am in pain or routine preventive physicals. The Ins. companies are plenty ‘rich’ and should offer: if you don’t use your premium each year you build up the ‘free well care visit’, gyny vist etc. Or just pay for those visits! If they can write off thousands of dollars then there’s no need to have to charge that amount. No pill should cost 10x as much as a bottle of the stuff! I know the pharms. and Ins. want to make money; but there’s where you could save some money. Let those that HAVE the money pay for it.

I’m not for nationalized or socialized medicine. It’s clearly not working. Long waits, etc. I’ve talked to those from other countries who that’s what they have. DO YOU WANT THAT kind of care? ARE YOU GOING TO ACCEPT THIS?? Why must the people accept something the ‘government’ does not need to?

We need to keep jobs in the USA and not send it all over seas…..hence…jobs here, money here etc. It just makes sense. :)
