DHS Medical Card

DHS needs to re-evaluate the income of participants more frequently. I am aware of a family of 5 that now makes over $66,000 a year and husband has insurance through work but they still qualify for a medical card with no co-pay from DHS. The family originally qualifed for the medical card as the husband wasn’t working but that status has changed. DHS needs to re-evaluate family income at least every 6 months.
