CCW / Open Carry… NOW!

Every other state in the union offers it’s citizens the rights given by the United States Constitution.

Why does Illinois deny this right to citizens, while allowing it for it’s “political class”?

End “Sanctuary city/ county/ state status…NOW!

How much does it cost our government, on every level, to support people that are not here legally? You want to talk budget savings, trim off the expense of people who have no claim tot he services they readily take advantage of.

Pension reform/ elimination … NOW!

Those of the “political class” whom have their future secured by government union pension(s), need to have those benefits trimmed to a manageable level.

Those new hires/ newly elected “political class” / government union types need to have the pension system eliminated completely, and go to a 401k type plan…like the common working class have.

DO SOMETHING…NOW!

I see a litany of HB numbers, proposals, and suggestions. What I don’t see is ANY sense of urgency from Springfield…at any level. The only urgency I see is Governor Quinn wanting to raise my taxes.

This site started out with a bang, but quickly fizzled out because not one suggestion, that I have seen, has been acted on with any amount of urgency. It’s like the “political class” wanted to act like they had interest in the “common mans” plight, only to ignore it. Some sort of action needs to happen, and happen now. Enough debate. Enough study. Enough commissions. Time for action. This body has been given some great ideas…make something happen.

This too I’m sure was a waste of effort, but hopefully someone on the receiving end of this will pass along the people’s frustration with the status quo. November is coming, and incumbents need be aware, the voters are just as aware on inaction as they are of bad action.
