College Class Catalogs

I have approached this issue before with college of Dupage and with Dan Cronin’s office. I feel it is entirely wasteful to send every resident a catalog for classes. Surely that can be cut and just publish in newspapers that a catalog is available at libraries, grocers, and any goverment buildings. My 90 year old mother wanted to know why she was getting this catalog. What does this cost to publish so many copies that get trashed? Why, in this computor age do we continue this? Please, can someone justify this to me? Thanks for the opportunity to state this.
