The value of real estate has dropped the past two years yet the real estate taxes continue to rise. The local assessor must be required to use actual value and not a three year average trend!

Cut the budget

You need a bunch of housewives to help you cut the budget, it’s what they do every day.
You can start by getting rid of the EXTREMELY large pensions. Whose idea was that anyway, gee let me guess, more politicians. Illinois is trying to fix what’s wrong, we can’t do it with more spending.
