Eliminate legislator initiatives

Eliminate legislator initiatives in the budget and spending process. Most of these are items that should be funded by local government and taxing bodies should the constituents in the particular area want and are willing to pay for it. Otherwise it is nothing more than a campaign advertising handout for re-election.

Increase Fines for Lawbreakers

Increase fines for people who break the law. Make them really think about their actions. A $75.00 fine for texting while driving won’t discourage anyone. Make it $750.
